This is a photo from Mary Campbell Cave in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I thought it was appropriate for the theme because of the time it took for water to erode the rock and form the cave as well as the time Mary Campbell spent there and away from her family. She had been abducted by Delaware Indians in 1759 at the age of 12 and lived in the cave with the Indian women temporarily before she was released in 1764 after a treaty ended the French and Indian War.

Nature showing the passing of time is always interesting in that it takes a very long time for things to happen in nature! Great interpretation of the theme! Thanks for stopping by! Happy Saturday!
