Could I Have A Moment To Myself, Please?

Do you see the cat in the tree?

Emily in a tree.

That’s Emily. She’s trying to wean her kittens.

My mom pointed it out, “Leslie, come look at this. The kittens have been attacking Emily for milk, so she ran up the tree. Look at her.”

I grabbed my camera to take a picture and Julia wanted to know what was happening. My mom told her that Emily was in the tree. “Her kittens were driving her crazy. I guess she needed some time alone.”

Emily, I understand.

    I wish I could climb a tree when I needed mommy time. LOL I can’t even use the bathroom alone anymore.

    I thought I had the problem solved by putting a lock on my home office door. Doesn’t work. The kids just keep pounding on the door until I let them in. I’ll try a tree when it gets warmer.
