Last night, I was handed the keys to my very own used, but new to me, 1998 Dodge Caravan.

My New Old Van Stella

Julia and I named her Stella. Isn’t she pretty?

I feel like my Mom card earned gold star status or was laminated or something. I am the real deal. I’m a Mom with a van.

Look out world! Here I come, with cupcakes!

You are officially a soccer mom. We were saving for a mini-van last year, but our family had two unexpected operations. It’s a major undertaking to get 3 young kids into the backseat of a car, but I wasn’t too keen on getting a mini-van either. Treat Stella well.

Welcome to the ranks of minivan drivers!! It looks awesome and that is a great name:)

Does Grimm’s car have a name? Because you’ve got to name it Astrophil - a romance made in the driveway! :)

    Congratulations on the new car!

I love it! COngrats!! OI am so very green with envy right now. I want a minivan. I think my ego needs that gold star on my mom card LOL.

I am so happy for you. Enjoy Stella. :D

Congratulations! I drive a Caravan myself.

I would hope that this rated an Excitement Level 11, at least.

Awesome! Congrats!!! I’ve wanted a van for a few months because I can’t cram anymore of Dawson’s stuff in my little ford focus.

Congrats! And honestly, nothing makes you feel like a mom like a van can. Once I got my micro-mini-van I felt officially admitted to the suburban mommy = taxi community. Welcome to the club!

Congrats and I absolutely love the color!

[…] Julia and I are music-lovers. There is no time this is more obvious than when we are traveling in our van Stella. And since we are very social girls with a jam-packed schedule, we spend a lot of time with Stella, listening to music as we barrel down the highway flit from engagement to engagement. […]
