A Photo, But Not A Photo Hunt Photo

Normally, I post a picture on Saturday for the Photo Hunt. But, today the theme was “Row” as in, “in a row,” and all I could think about were ducks. I don’t have any pictures of ducks. Or anything else “in a row.” I did have this picture that I wanted to share:
That’s Julia and her kitty, Katie. I just love this picture. I’m not sure exactly why. Maybe it’s because it seems to capture the essence of their relationship - the admiration, the playfulness. Maybe. I just don’t know.
I feel the need to mention that the outfit Julia is wearing was chosen by her.

Oh gawd, I just adore Julia. Those fat little cheeks and her dark curls…love her! And there is absolutely nothing wrong with red sweats and yellow t-shirts. Duh, mom!
What a cute picture!! I love kitties. We got a kitten a few months ago and she’s already out of the kitten stages. I want another kitten but I’m afraid I’ll turn into a crazy cat lady.
I couldn’t come up with anything for “Row” either. Any picture of Julia wins hands down over ducks. This one especially.
Good for you for letting Julia pick out her own clothes. Looks to me like she’s making great choices. For comparison Sister (who also picks her own outfits) is wearing a bright turquoise skirt with matching socks, a white and cornflower blue shirt that does not match and a purple hairband to complete the ensemble.
