Plastic

Plastic

I’m such a cheater. I didn’t even take this picture. My dear friend Wendy did. (Thanks Wen!) It’s from her daughter Casey’s second birthday party. (You should check out the My Mommy’s Place Photo Of The Month Archives. Casey has a cute picture in there. She’s August 2007.) Anyhoo…I chose this because of all the, you know, plastic around Julia.

It was either that or my lawnmower because, “IT’S GOT A PLASTIC FLYWHEEL!” And if you know what movie that is from and it makes you laugh, we were made to be best friends. If you guess the movie right in the comments, if you’d like, I’ll send you a My Mommy’s Place Cool Kids bumper sticker for free!

I know that line and I can’t think of what it’s from. Hopefully someone comments with the answer and puts me out of my misery!! It’s going to bug me until I know!

    St. Elmo’s Fire!!

Ok, ok I cheated and googled it because that’s how much I want to be best friends with you. :) No bumpersticker necessary (you never said we couldn’t cheat) I already have the tee shirt.

Lovely picture of the darling Julia. I’m still trying to figure out how your pictures have such a clean quality to them.

A sweet little girl among all that plastic! Mine’s up–come by. :)

  11. Paulie on September 17, 2007 12:00 pm

Great entry — I wondered why that piece of equipment hadn’t shown up in any posts before now. . . it seems to be so popular with little ones now a days. Come and see mine.

  12. Michelle on September 17, 2007 1:24 pm

Yea, and my “wordless” Wednesdays are anything but. All’s fair in love and the blogosphere :)

  13. tootise on September 17, 2007 1:27 pm

It’s not “St. Elmo’s Fire,” it’s “She’s Having a Baby!” That emergency c-section scene with Kate Bush singing makes me cry everytime I see it.

  14. Mommy on September 17, 2007 10:28 pm

    Tootsie, you got it!

  15. Daddy Forever on September 17, 2007 10:54 pm

That’s a cute picture. A lovely smile that does not forced (like my daughter’s).

That’s just such an adorable picture and the colors are so vibrant. Lovely shot for this weeks theme
