The first night I jokingly told my husband that maybe I should pluck an eyelash around the foriegn body to see if that would help. The next morning while researching mysterious eye nodules on the internet I found out that they recommend plucking the offending eyelash if it is indeed a sty. So I figured what the hell and I did it. It actually did feel better and was gone the next day. So obviously since that didn't work for your eye mass, it was definately a goiter and not a sty.
