A Star Is Born
by Leslie
Julia had her very first piano recital over the weekend. I’m not sure there are words strong enough to describe just how proud I am of her. She played her piece flawlessly. And she kept her finger out of her nose. Take a look:

She did just beautifully, Leslie! What concentration. Thanks SO much for sharing this with us!
Brother says, “I think Juwee knows how to play the compano and she knows how to play Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star so nice.”
I agree. Well done, Julia.
Ah, synchronicity! For my post about my Kris Kristofferson concert, I used the album cover from “A Star is Born.”
Wonderful piano playing, by the way.
:)
Wow! Great job Julia! That takes a lot of focus for such a little one!
Ladies and Gentlemen: Esther Hoffman Howard!!
I love how the light on her hair makes it look like she’s wearing a halo. Angel, indeed.
I was so nervous for her when I started watching the video!! It brought me back to my recital days. She looked so intense and then SO happy when she did well and got her applause.
Tell her she and Braden can play a duet some day.
Great job Julia!
BTW…I think your daughter has the shiniest hair that I have ever seen!
AMAZING! What a talented girl she is. And so adorable!!!!!!
She looks so cute in her dress playing the piano. So talented too!
Oh wow! She is really good! I loved the little bow at the end. Did I spell that right? Bow? Not like BOH, but like B-OW. Right? I dunno.
EXCELLENT JOB, JULIA.
How cute is Julia? And what poise - she did such a great job.
Yay! Nicely done, Julia. I smell a star…
