The Great Underwear Dilemma
by Leslie
only come in briefs, but Jules
prefers bikini
A ridiculous amount of time was spent debating the benefits of these choices.
“These underwear have Ariel on them, but when I scrunch them down below my belly button, they poof out and make my tummy look lumpy when I put my pants on. I don’t have to scrunch the other underwear, but they have no princesses on them at all!”
So, finally, I suggested we buy a pack of each. THIS WAS DUMB. Because now I have to face the great underwear dilemma every.single.morning.

Makes me more grateful that my soon-to-be 3yo daughter prefers her brother’s hand-me-down briefs. No arguing. She just loves Thomas so much and he doesn’t come on panties, what’s up with that?
There are times when I am SO glad C is 15.
So. Glad.
You can buy iron-on graphics of Disney characters at most craft stores for under $2. Then you can just iron-on her favorite princess on her underwear.
Thank you for this heads up - Ironflower hasn’t worn bikinis yet and now I’ll keep it that way so I can avoid this dilemma.
I also hate the combo sizes (ie - 4/5). Can’t they have underwear in both 4’s and 5’s sizes?
Sounds like good preparation for her teenage years.
So what you are saying here is that I need to stick to just one type of undies for CL? Yes, I agree. I have enough problems with her insisting on mis-matched clothes all the time.
