Ooooooh. Aaaaah.

Ahhh, so true. Love it too, my friend. Great photo. My husband is pushing through two last quarters of a three year nights/week-end MBA and it’s been harder than I though to have him gone so much. Worse the kids have been wistful for Daddy to be home. It’s sad when we come home at 9 and he’s still not there. Is your guy still working nights? I know he was a while back. In the end, we’ve both got such hard working guys that I think we know would do anything for us so even if they aren’t home, at least that fact is so reassuring and comforting.
Yes, he works nights. And the tradeoff to him being away all weekend is that he’s home a day or two during the week, which is nice. But everything is a little harder when he isn’t here.
mine is away on business all week. It’s hard, I agree.
I guess I’d rather miss him when he’s gone than feel relieved when he goes. I hope I always miss him when he’s away.
