Ugh… hope she’s okay! Well, I mean obviously she isn’t, but I hope this is a milder thing.

Two of my mom’s employees tested positive for H1N1, so we were worried. But, it just seemed to be a really bad head cold. Thank goodness!

Oh, dang. Sorry she no feel good.
I’ve got one coming down too. And here I thought we’d beat it all back. Bah.

(Check out my name now! HA!!)

It’s amazing isn’t it. Beefcake can’t tell nearly as well as I can. I can tell if it’s even slightly elevated. I have one home with me today too - and one who is always home but is sick as well!
Hope she’s better soon.

Moms are magical!

I hope your kids are better. Julia was driving me crazy today, which means she’s feeling fine.

Isn’t that funny how moms know? Our family doctor told me one time that he thinks moms are more accurate than thermometers.

Feel better soon, Julia.

Nothing serious I hope. And hope no one else catches it from her…!

It turned out to be just a bad head cold. I’ve been worrying that Lucy would get it next, but she’s just fine. I, on the other hand, seem to be coming down with something. Ugh!

Is that something that comes when you are in transition of becoming a mommy? Because I can’t do it just yet. So I am hoping one day when the time comes, I will be able. Danny tries to take my temperature via kissing my forehead all of the time, just like his mom did, but he is never accurate. I think it is cute that he tries, though.

You’ll be able to do it when the time comes. There’s something magical about motherhood. You’ll be amazed at what you discover you can do!
