I’ve gained 10 pounds in 47 days. (Yeah, you read that right. 10 pounds.)

I know. I KNOW.

You’re probably wondering, “What the what?!?! Didn’t you just post that you were back in your pre-pregnancy jeans on Twitter/Facebook/a bumper sticker/your t-shirt/that banner hanging from your porch?”

Yeah, I did. Because I was back in my pre-pregnancy jeans. And then I ate my way out of them. In just one week. (I didn’t tweet about that.)

Dave’s 20 year high school reunion is in 6 months, so I’ve got to turn this incredible expanding woman thing around.

As of today, I’m back on my diet.

I just wanted to warn you.

I’m back on my diet too. After being down to buying size 14 jeans, I’m back into my 18-20s…..So far, only bad thing is drinking a mountain dew livewire (because I was desperate for caffeine!). Let me know if you need moral support–you’ve got my cell #

I hear you. My baby was born Sept 2nd. I gained 11 pounds while pregnant and lost 25 when I had her. Uh. It’s mostly all back ?? My body likes it at a certain non-impressive weight. Cheers to all of us taking on a diet ! To Success :)

Today is day one for me too. I too have eaten my way out of my jeans and I REFUSE to buy another pair which would just allow me to keep packing back on the pounds. To be honest, since the race in August, I have put on 15lbs. It has come on slowly, except that the first 5 came on slowly and the last ten came on super fast during the holidays. Who am I kidding, with the amount of cookies that I was putting away on a daily basis I should be getting down on my hands and knees and thanking the diet gods that it’s ONLY 15lbs. Good luck on getting back on track. It’s almost 1:30 pm and I am already imagining chocolate and a diet pepsi when Elyse naps. I’m so sad. Wish me luck : )

My best advice for dieting is to get all of food out of the house that will tempt you. If it is not there, you will not snack on it. Try to eat at regular intervals, and if you are going to snack, it must be something healthy (fruit, veggies, yogurt). Also, write down everything you eat and try to count calories. I found that I think about it a lot more if I have to write it down. Good luck!

You can do it – having the 6 month motivation deadline is a clear goal to shoot for!
